deleting zmud and then downloading it again |
Do I need to do anything special before deleting zmud and redownloading it? Nobody could help me with my problem and I never could fix it and I'm gonna guess it will be easier to start all over again.

uninstall, then be sure you've deleted the zmud directory so there are no files left over from an old install.
(obviously making a backup of your mud files first) |

Not only that, Guinn, but he would need to unlicense it, as well.

right-click on either the zmud.exe file in the main zmud directory or any originally-created shortcut (you can try shortcuts you yourself created, but I dunno if it will have the eLicense link in the right-click menu).
On the right-click menu that appears, choose the eLicense submenu and then choose Unlicense.
A window will pop up with your license number filled in the textbox already. Next to that is a button with the caption of Unlicense. Clicking on it will send the request/update to the eLicense server so that the license can be freed up.
Now you can go ahead and uninstall zmud safely. |

Unliscencing is not critical is it? Do you still get three with your purchase? and do they still automatically expire after three months? It would only be critical if you didn't unliscence and use up all three in those three months (I did that once with windows re-installs in quick succession), right? It's defenitely on my checklist for a re-install, but just in case I forgot somehwere along the way...
