delaying Mapper

Is there any way to stop the mapper sending the move direction command to the mud until it has actually moved the previous command?

The boats on our MUD move very slowly and slow walk(sail hehe) is not slow enough to allow it to follow the map.

I was thinking maybe i could trigger on "the boat sails east" and then send the next command to the MUD.

Thanks

As a workaround you could simply increase the timeout value for slowwalking.

View -> Preferences -> Slow Walking

The default is 5000 (5 seconds)

I have mine set at 150000 (15 seconds) it's more than enough and does help cope with those annoying lag bubbles that sometimes appear.

Thanks for that but its not realy the way I wanted to do it. I have experimented with delays and they do work but i really wanted to try to contol the walk a bit more so I could link my zones with sailing maps. I suppose I'l just have to stick with my sailing triggers if there is no answer.

thanks anyway

Bob

First if your using 7.03 you should upgrade 7.05 fixes alot of the mapper bugs.

Second read this article http://www.zuggsoft.com/library/speedwalking.htm It explains in Detail how the new speedwalking works. Including how to pause and step through the mapper
