Pulling Character name into script.

I am trying to pull the #CH into a script with no evail. Can I get a clue?

Using Zmud 7.05, and want to send "Player #CH" (doesn't work) or something like that to pull up the character info from Medievia into an initialization script to see what class(es) the character belongs to. I want to use the system varaible so that I can share this script without it having been personalized.

Thanks for any help here.

#CHAR is a command. Like other commands, it only works when it's the first word in a command block.

What you want is the predefined variable, %char. Don't put it inside double-quotes.
Player %char

Most scripts in this forum are written for Command Line entry.
Don't even open the Settings Editor unless its use is specified or obvious.
