Board Times

I'm getting very used to this new format of boards, thanks Zugg!

I just noticed that while I was reading Zugg posted something. In Chicago it's 1:23pm as I type. Zugg's post time is 8:18pm. Zugg, did you move to Europe?

Absolutely no big deal, just an observation...

At the bottom of each board it should say something like "All times are GMT +nn hours". Click on your Profile and you can change the time zone you are in to effect the display. Maybe phpBB was developed in Europe so the defaults are set that way. I'll see if there is a place for me to change the default for new users.

Just checked and the forum is set with a system timezone of GMT, which is what I wanted. So, it's just up to each user to set their timezone in their Profile for what they want. For example, for Mountain time zone, I have mine set for "GMT - 6 hours"

What is a bit odd is that Mountain Time in Windows XP is set as "GMT -7 hours".

Nothing odd about it. It's summer and Zugg is on daylight savings time.
MST (Mountain Standard Time) is GMT -7
MDT (Mountain Daylight Time) is GMT -6
