Turning parsing on and off |
Hey, is there a command I can use to turn parsing on and off in the command line or when I am using an alias? Onthe mud I frequent, the imms restrict color text use to themselves, but using <color></color> lets me talk in color to other folks with Zmud. Problem is I have to having parsing disabled to do this. Anyone know how to turn it off and then back on? Thanks.

You know about the little computer icon right beside the command line which turns parsing off?

Also, you can use the quote character to prevent zMUD from interpreting the next character as a special character. Example:
say ~<color red~>testing~</color~>

You can turn parsing off from the command line with #VERBATIM. However, you'll have to use the computer icon or the menu (Settings|Parsing) to turn parsing back on, since #VERBATIM won't get parsed with parsing off.
