I'm getting this as well, after an apparently successful reconfigure, no room shows up in the map window and it says queue: 1 in the lower right. Whenever I enter a command or give output from the mud, it gives the above error (same message, but different boxes) until I turn off the mapper.

I tried deleting the database and reinstalling 6.62 and creating a new map... both give me a missing index error. Can anyone help us?

Make sure you have followed the instructions on the http://www.zuggsoft.com/data page to install the MDAC updates on your system.

i'm getting this same error, i have jet and mdac installed... i ran that check utility program and under summary report i get these:
Item Name,Item Type,ErrorString,Status
ODBCCP32.dll,File,Field 'FileVersion' mismatch: Expect '3.520.9030.0' Got '3.520.9041.40',Error

Item Name,Item Type,ErrorString,Status
ODBC32.dll,File,Field 'FileVersion' mismatch: Expect '3.520.9030.0' Got '3.520.9041.40',Error

Item Name,Item Type,ErrorString,Status
msjtes40.dll,File,Field 'FileVersion' mismatch: Expect '4.00.5914.0' Got '4.00.7328.0',Error

so it appears as if it's having an error because my jet and mdac are newer?
i keep my computer pretty well updated, and i use windows xp pro with sp1
