One Liscence Key unable to Unliscence

Hi guys,

Is it normal to have one Liscence in my eLiscence control folder which I cannot liscence and the icon for which is shown as a O1O1 type of icon ? In the beginning there were two Zmud Logo icons. One was a liscence for a previous version of Zmud and the other is for my recent 6.62 version. I tried to unliscence the older version, it and it went over the unliscence process and said its been unliscenced. Now when I look at the folder.. where the old Zmud icon pertianing to the old version of Zmud used to be.. is now the 0101 icon and when i try to unliscence it, it says cannot unlinscnce. Also this is the one that contails the product details, receipt etc.

Any help or insight will be appreciated.

Thanks

Those icons are just shortcuts to the ZMUD.EXE file itself. So, it's possible the old icon is pointing to a directory that no longer contains the ZMUD.EXE file or something like that. Also, if you upgrade and overwrite the old ZMUD.EXE with the new ZMUD.EXE, then the old icon is pointing to the wrong file and the unlicense won't work for it.

Sometimes it's easier to just go right-click on the actual ZMUD.EXE file you want to Unlicense and select Unlicense from the eLicense Control menu that you get when you right click on it.

So does it mean Ive lost one of my three liscences ? and that it is liscenced to a software that no longer exists on my PC.

Another thing the liscene was installed on 4/12/2003
and the liscence should have expired on 7/12/2003

Will it never expire so that I can get it back?

I am using the remaing two liscenes on my two PCs.. Any help on getting this one would be appreciated..

Thanks again for the great piece of software.

All licenses expire on the remote eLicense server every 90 days, so you shouldn't lose a license. If you do, just email us with your reg code and we can try to reset one.
