Unable to get license
 
Copy of error output:
"Unable to get or install license
Retrieval of license failed with error code = -4.
Error in parsing data returned from license servers."

This happens because there is a 90 day timer or something and I has to renew my license as explained when I start ac explorer. I'v updated it before - and then it was no problem.

I'm running 3.33

A connection to the license servers could not be established.

Please make sure that you are currently connected to the Internet.

If you have verified that your conneciton is active, please wait a few minutes, then try to get your license again.

Well, I have done this, and still no dice. All my other programs can access the internet. Is there something wrong with the license server? If so, when will it be fixed?

Got it to update now, and all is ok.

License server was probably down.

Just a notice to AC Explorer folks in this forum. You should be aware that zMUD has over 46,000 users while AC Explorer only has about 7,000. So, there is usually a LOT more activity over in the zMUD forum. When you start having licensing issues, it's worthwhile to go check the zMUD forum to see what is posted. I just can't cross post everything to every forum. Over in the zMUD forum you would have learned that the eLicense servers were down for a while Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, but are fixed now. Just something to keep in mind in the future.
