Walking to room

Hi

When I doulble click on a room on the map then I auto walk to that room.

Is there a way to make a aliase so I can type WalkFountain and then I auto walk to that room, without useing the map.

The room I like to walk to has the roomname Palazzo Fountain

The #WALK command will do this for you. It uses the short name of the room (other in the room's properties) you wish to walk to.

#WALK palazzo_fountain (put quotes around "palazzo fountain" if you wish to use a space where the underscore is)

For an alias,

#AL {walkfountain} {#WALK palazzo_fountain}

Thanks it works, but is there a easy way to make the short name for room = roomname for all my room in the zone, and replace space with a _

I have find out that if there are more than one room with the same shortname it will walk to the closet.

I don't know if it's possible to set the shortname to use the room's name. With duplicate names I would alter the names of the rooms using the same shortname - "palazzo fountain1" and "palazzo fountain2". Alternatively you can use the room's ID in place of the shortname which is unique for every room.

If the room you want to walk to has an ID of 6272 - #WALK 6272
