Zmapper (room double up) problem |
My problem is this:
In mapping mode, if I move back to a room that has already been created some time ago, the room decription may be different and thus the mapper does not recognise that the two rooms are actually the same room - so it makes a new room and it sits on top of the old one! So I have to MERGE the rooms together every time this happens!
How do I make it that the mapper uses only the ROOM NAME to identify the room and thus I get a match, or is there a better way?
Please help!
HERE IS A SAMPLE OF THE MUD OUTPUT:
H:670 M:600 [eb]north
Eastern Pine Street.
The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. You see exits leading northeast, south and west.

Use Follow mode when you're just walking around.
If you somehow disabled this, you'd have a different complaint, "When I walk n-e-s-w and end up in a new room, but it has the same title as the first room, zMUD won't make a new room even when the descriptions are obviously different." Of the two complaints, this would be the harder one to fix manually.
