Mapper Config query
 
I know I did it before, but I can't for the life of me remember how to disable the diagonal directions when manually creating a map using the keyboard, I don't need nw,sw etc..but I do need up and down.

Anyone remember how to do that?

You probably need to disable the class DirectionsDiag.
