download trouble |
I've been wanting to use ZMud again. I went to download it on the present computer I ran into trouble. It goes through the whole process, but when it should open after the download, nothing happens. I looked under programs, and there is ZMud there, but where there are usually numbers for a file size, there is nothing. I thought maybe it's the computer so tried on the laptop. The same thing happens. Deleting the program and downloading it again was suggested, but the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong? I'm not very techie at all. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Steve

I had no problems with downloading it on my system. I click on zMud in the Products drop down on this page, then followed a few links to the download section where it finally downloaded. As a shortcut this is final link to click.

I tried both the products drop down menu and the link provided and had the same results. I did notice a couple of things though. Doing the download it says not a secure file but I click to download anyway, and when downloading there is a page with I think 5 file types checked but required files wasn't checked off while all the others were. Could the problem be my antivirus? I use ESET

Stand-alone antivirus software is often more trouble than it's worth these days, so yes, it well could be.

I finally figured out how to disable my ESET antivirus to do the download again and still got the same result so that wasn't it. Running out of ideas, only know enough computer stuff for an old guy to get by. Windows 11 Pro, could that be it?

Probably not a problem with Windows 11. That is what I am running on my laptop which is what I used for checking it over before my previous reply. Perhaps try a different browser. I find Opera GX to be a very functional, fast, and efficient browser.
