Fixed zoom in some zones - automapping

This is bugging me to no end.

When moving to some zones, they will be locked at a weird zoom. I zoom out, save the map, and leave the zone.

As soon as I zone back in, the zoom will be reset.

The only way I was able to reset the zone was by selecting all rooms and moving to a new zone... then deleting the old zone and renaming the new one.

Is there a way to force lock the zoom on all zones? 150% on my 4k monitor is preferred, but some zones are always 80% when zoning to them. Others are 100%. Some are 200%. And I can't reset them.

I have never experienced this issue myself.
Nor can I find any function that so much as references the zoom level.

The other issue, I guess, is when I start CMUD3, I see a window that says "opening map" flash like 10 times. When I go to Window, I see [currently] 13 "Automapper" windows in the list. Yet I can only close the one seen on screen. If I click any of the other automap windows, it opens the map like normal and I can close it, but there's still 10+ in the list. I only have one mapper set in my sessions.

Is it possible to get on a video call to showcase this and/or try and solve it?

Sure, you can contact me on discord.
But it sounds like a corrupted session.
The easiest fix is to export your settings to an XML (from the file menu of the settings editor).
Then delete the current session.pkg file.
It will recreate a new one when you reconnect to it, then import your settings from the XML file you created.

I suspect having so many mapper windows open is what led to the zoom not saving as well, for what it is worth.

I ended up solving this by unchecking "Autoload on session start" for the map in the package editor, loading the session, then saving opening the map and saving the session layout. After saving/closing out the session, it seemed to open correctly afterward.

I haven't paid much attention to the zoom settings, but you may be right in that they are fixed by doing this.
