Performance - Map

Hey,

if i have the mapper opened i have a delay around one second for each command send to the mud.

If i press ctrl-m and i close the map anything is fine.
It doesn't depend of the mode (Off, follow, map), it is the same issue.

It worked fine for a long time and i can't figure out what happened that it is so slow now.

I already tried to reconfigure the map or create a new one without any rooms but that wasn't helpfully

Does anyone have a hint?

Regards

If you have done a lot of editing of the map it may just be a resource issue, try restarting CMUD, or rebooting.

I have three other options for you:

1. Have you tried running your map through the map convert tool pinned in the CMUD Beta forum?
Change the filetype from .mdb to .dbm and back again, or vise versa.
Don't forget to save a copy of it elsewhere first.

2. It's possible for your session.pkg file yo have gotten corrupted.
In which case you should try exporting your settings to XML.
(Via the file menu in the settings editor.)
Then move your current session file to a different location.
CMUD will recreate it next time the session is opened.
If things then seem to be normal you can try importing your settings.

3. Uninstall and Reinstall CMUD.
You will need to request a new key through the store side of this website (no charge).
Make sure you still have access to your old email before trying this though.
