Well, using #writelog " "

But then I took the ID out of the condition and it showed up correctly (as a collapsible tree) in the editor, but now it simply isn't gagging anything from the log...

The %cr just returns the single CR character (char 13). Just like %lf just returns the single LF character (char 10). The Newline for FILES in Windows is a CRLF (two characters). So you can use %crlf to send both characters to add additional line breaks to the file.

Thanks, any reason why adding the condition would stop the entire gag from working?

Within a trigger (that you are already gagging) if you add to the script text a #say {whatever}, is there a way to not log that echo (without turning off logging for all trigger changed output)? Or would you have to make a trigger to gag each echo too? :(

#SAY something
#GAGLOG
SHOULD be gagging the 'something' you said from the log

If not, then yes, you will have to make separate triggers.
