Main MUD window gone |
Cannot find a way to get it back.
Had to delete session settings, etc
HOWEVER... now, if I load the old map(s) in they are useless. They do not track me, know not where I am, nothing. |

You can fix that in the future by locating the window in the settings, there is a checkbox for visibility.
You mad need to make a new #LOC object for the map. |

There was no window.
As for #LOCATION, there already is one and it shows the correct room name but when I move, nothing happens. The map does not track.
For simplicity I shall have to blitz the entire thing and go back to an earlier version of the character.
I'll put things down to shoddy documentaiton (lacking useful examples) and a distinct abandonment of the product by professor zugg and co., leaving any and all assoistancew up to the general public. |

Don't blame others when you decide to delete things before asking for help or searching the forum.
Both of these issues could have been resolved.
Window = http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=36971
As for the Location object...
You mentioned having made a new session and transported the map over.
Does the new session have a different name?
If so, that explains the issue.
Enter '#LOC' by itself to get a list of the known locati0n objects, then '#LOC ID' to have the map try to make that pointer follow you around. |
