Something in cmud is causing it to lock up

I have no idea how to test what is causing the lockup, except to say it's something to do with long aliases/many line captures

IE:
(this is an alias)
#21 conjure undead;#loop 21 {k undead %i}
or

(this is an alias)

.(fan);.(portal ice)6s11enend;.(in)3nwn2wsw3n2enesed5sesw2sw2s3wd5e5nd2s5enene4n2ej2njnh2n5j7s10l14e10j8n10h14w10keljek6sej5n7j10e7l2w2skl2s5k5wk3wh3n2lejn2ehejh2j2wkn
or

(this is a button)
cu
q
cl
keep orb
alter hybrid
chest;retrieve;open chest;deliver
enchant sword with light;wear all;protection;ug
#3 con 1000
shs2
7777
party;pname <*|Flames of Coal|*>
keep all
setmin hunts prey from
setmout persues to the
setmmin considers stalking
setmmout moves with intent
review
ktrig preserve remains/get preservation/keep preservation/divvy gold

now i have multiple folders that open and close depending on what type of character im playing in this session, ONLY when this session is open and these aliases/buttons are on does this hang up happen.

THIS IS NOT A LOOPING TRIGGER, i can upload the xml so someone can try this on their comp as it happens on 4 different comps now, all with varying HDD space and ram availability.

currently this is on a beast of a gaming system i built and there is no reason what so ever for cmud not to have enough resources to run this script
can someone please help me, thanks.

actually i recant that it's with those type of inputs that make it happen, it JUST happens without any provocation, IE: i open it and this happens...

I'm no pro but your first alias (and please excuse me if this is just an oversight...) #21 conjure undead;#loop 21 {k undead %i} **#21 {conjure undead};#loop 21 {k undead %i}**

just about any instance of your #NUM should enclose the 'command' with { } . I do a semi-same system on 3k myself. *evil grin*

mine throws an error with some of my longer speedwalks from loc2loc but not on all of them and sometimes wont for the first 2-3 times i use a specific one, but suddenly DINK error popup.

Have you considered corruption?
I would try exporting to XML and remake the .pkg file.

Yes this is a fresh install from an xml that i made into a new pkg.

Im guessing ill have to guy trigger/alias/macro etc line by line and disable all until i find the problem

class by class would be a quicker way to narrow it down.... assuming you keep stuff organized Shocked

yeah its all organized by alias/trigger/macro/button etc, however triggers aloine i have like 400+ triggers to dig through, i just wish i had some reference as to what could be making things go sluggish.

Well many things...
Not naming your alarms can lead to an overload of iterations.
Extensive loops and map edits can all but freeze CMUD.
Just resizing a window with a large buffer can slow things down momentarily.

there ARE alarms but none that loops, perhaps just having more than say 5 going will cause that?

Alarms, in general, are not bad to have, just good practice to name them, that way if a trigger that defines it does go off more often then intended, it is overwriting the one alarm over and over instead of making instances.

All depends on implementation.

yeah all of my alarms are labeled differently and classed. i don't know if i mentioned this, but this is a recent thing. it has NEVER happened before to me. Is there is a debugger in cmud i can use or something that can tell me specifically what is doing this?

There is the script debugger under the windows menu of CMUD.
