Migrating CMUD with all settings |
So, im on 3 different computers, and want to for example edit my settings at work and play when i get home. Is there a way to move ALL settings, prefs etc, so that closing at work and opening at home would be like opening/close on the same computer?

There is a way, but I think it would require reinstalling on all machines.
Direct them all to save to a thumb drive and carry it with you from machine to machine.
Otherwise its just a matter of copying files and remembering to write over with the new version before you load up a given session. |

For some reason, this doesn't sound safe at all.
I recommend not trying to do that and instead learning about source control. Something like GitLab ought to accomplish what you want, once you learn how to use Git. |

Git seems like a huge overkill for moving a few settings between computers... how is a thumb drive unsafe for that?

Thumb drive doesn't sound unsafe. You misread what I think is unsafe.

Running CMUD off a thumb drive will accomplish this and is not unsafe. |
