Problem with output display

For the last several days the client has been displaying some of the same lines multiple time. When I click on the screen the display rights itself. I've looked for the problem without success. I even uninstalled and re-installed without any impact. I wonder if anyone else has experience with this problem?

This has been a recurring issue since CMud was ever released, and really it's a ZMud-era issue. I don't think anyone's really isolated any one procedure for it yet.
