[Feature]flying windows upgrades |
1)one child window can be docked to another child window, leaving that parent child window in a floating position to be dragged around at will. Is it possible for the docked child window to also be given the flyout option relative to its parent instead of having to be docked to the main window to get flyout capability?
2)barring child-on-child docked flyouts, any chance of new flyout functionality that allows for floating flyout windows (the concept of this is similar to minimizing a window and dragging it where you desire)
3)any chance of having flyout windows fly out to their floating width/height dimensions (ie, like flyouts coming out from the system tray) instead of the docked edge-to-edge version? |

1) No, unfortunately AutoHide windows only work when docked with the main application window.
2) Click the System Icon for the floating window (the small C icon in the upper-left corner) and select Rollup. This will reduce the window to just it's title bar. That's as close as I can get to what you are talking about. There is no way to do a floating flyout window...when the window is hidden it needs to be docked to the main window to get a tab
3) Not sure what you mean by this. Since flyout windows only work with docked windows, the window gets restored to whatever size it had when it was last hidden. Flyout windows have no concept of a "floating width/height" since flyout windows are never floating. So I'm confused by what you are asking. |
