Zugg, your mx_portal or module is out of date...

Tried to visit: http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34062&highlight=

only to get the following message:
Quote:
Your mx-portal or module need to be upgraded, since its calling an old mx function include file. If you are coding yourself be sure to include the phpbb includes version of " functions_admin.php " instead, i.e. replace mx_root_path with phpbb_root_path in the include call...

Just a heads up. Seems to be the only one that has happened with, though.

I reported this months ago. Getting it with older ZMud Gen Forum and/or Finished Scripts threads mostly.

Yeah, I got that same error today too. But in this case it's not an old post...it's a recent one. This might finally be a case that I can use to track down this bug in the forums, so I'll let you know what I find.

Found it!

Geez the PHPBB code is really a mess. I'll sure be happy when I can get this site converted to something better and more maintainable. But I was able to track it down to an "include" statement that only gets executes in some bizarre situation that requires the database to be "resynched" where it was including a file from the MX_Portal directory instead of the PHPBB directory.

I found the same include call in one other place in the same file and fixed it too. So this might fix the problem for those old posts too.

You'll need to post the exact URL link that isn't working for you. And as I mentioned above, you might need to wait a few months for the new web site this this error doesn't effect many people.
