[3.07] Multi-state buttons main caption not being shown |
1. Make a Mutli-state button w/ 2 substates, a and b
2. Name the main state caption something
3. click b
4. b now shows on the caption instead of the button's name.
You cannot get the main caption back as you can only select the substates which will take the name over. |

I think this is the correct operation... althou clicking the button, not the menu state would be nice to set the button state to 0 instead ofre-showing the menu.
If you assign a variable, and assign 0 to that variable the button will return to state 0 |

This is how it has always worked in CMUD and in zMUD. This is normal operation. The main button caption is only displayed when the state of the button is set to zero as Wrym mentioned. Once you select a state from the menu, there isn't any way to "clear" this state to return to zero other than via a script.
