Color Syntax

I get the other colors to paste just fine but the light grey won't work for me. It's correct in the syntax but I cannot get the MUD to paste me that color at all.
Here's what I have. Maybe I have a setting somewhere eating the w, I don't know. Has this happened to anyone here? The colors of this MUD are:
&x: Black
&b: Dark Blue
&g: Dark Green
&c: Cyan
&r: Dark Red
&p: Purple
&O: Brown
&w: Light Grey
&z: Dark Grey
&B: Blue
&G: Light Green
&C: Light Blue
&R: Light Red
&P: Pink
&Y: Yellow
&W: White

I don't know that color names work perfectly. I have used them quite a while and sometimes one color is just like another. I don't mean to discourage other answers.
