I'll be putting together a list of credits to show in the CMUD About dialog of people who have been really helpful in testing CMUD and in helping with the help files. I really appreciate any help you can offer, and I'm sure other CMUD users will appreciate it too. |
I'm still considering doing something like that. The problem that I ran into is causing bad feelings from people who's name doesn't end up being on the list. I'm still trying to decide how to reward those people who have really been helpful, without pissing off those people who "think" they might have been helpful. It's hard to know where to draw the line. If you have ideas on this that might help, definitely let me know. |

add some tool for renumbering settings priorities with step 10 again |
This already exists. In the Settings Editor, select the Edit menu and then the "Reset priorities" command.
|
Then I must ask what do you mean under "Reset priorities"? Reset to what values?
When I ask renumbering feature, I meant that all settings with priorities will be add to list, sorted, renumbered with step 10 and saved back.
Have try Reset priorities feature in Editor and check one gauge+trigger group.
Was: 519,520,530,540,541
Expected: smth like 480,490,500,510,520 or any other sequence of increasing numbers with step 10
Become: 519,520,1620,1050,541

Well, the Reset priorities is *supposed* to renumber everything with a step of 10 like you asked. Looks like it isn't working properly. I'll add this to the bug list and take a look at it when I get a chance.

When you gonna fix this bug, please, add the view mode to see ALL settings sorted by their priority, cause now though I can uncheck "Group by class" option, they still grouped by type (aliases, triggers, buttons, etc.) |

It's on the bug list.
But if you want to sort by priority, then you need to use the View/Sort by Priority menu option. The "Group by class" option has nothing to do with the sorting. The Group by Class option determines whether the settings are stored within their class tree, or whether the tree view is "flattened" to show all settings regardless of what class folder they are in. |

You may check it yourself - View/Sort by Priority menu option sort settings by priority, right, but not only. After sorting it group settings by type. I asked to add some option to prevent Editor from grouping, only sort. I check Group by Class option to be sure that editor do sort-group in both modes (by class or flattened). |

Oh, OK, I see what you are talking about. Yes, it will *always* sort by "type" first. There is no way around that. The Priority only means something within a given settings type. In other words, it doesn't matter if a trigger has a lower or higher priority than an alias. So it doesn't make sense to show settings mixed together...it only makes sense to show settings grouped into types.
If there is a really good reason why you need it to ungroup by type, maybe you can create a separate topic to request that feature and tell us more about why you need it. |

You might wait until 2.06 is released on Friday. It solves the serious trigger problems in 2.05. |
