[1.29] Strange Alias Behavior

This behavior has been occurring for a number of versions but ive only just gotten around to reporting it and its very odd.

Some of my aliases, particuarly ones with a few commands are adding either a 1 or 0 to the end of some of the commands.
In most cases this dosent affect the opperation and is just an oddity but with my deffing up alias for Imperian it causes the command Bond Wyvern to fail since when it sends to the mud it tags a 1 on the end so that the echo looks like Bond Wyvern 1.

The oddest part is that it dosent seem to make additions to ALL the commands in an alias.
At first I thought it was only that alias but ive been observing the command echos a bit more closely and its happening to several other unrelated ones also.

Ive tried to reproduce this by making a meaningless alias to do a few things and it dosent seem to want to cooperate.

Any insight into this oddness would be appreciated.

Heres the code of one of my smaller aliases that its making additions to:

#IF (@balance=1) {
bait pole with @bait
balwait
Cast pole @fdir
fishing=1
balance=0
}

The alias is adding a 1 on the end of the contents of the @bait and @fdir variables when it sends to the mud but it dosent seem to be limited to just variables in other aliases

I can't reproduce that. If I use your alias and set
balance=1
fdir=north
bait=worms

then run the alias, it outputs

bait pole with worms
balwait
Cast pole north

which I expect is what it should do?

Uncheck the Auto Append option for the alias and see if that fixes it.

It was that auto append thing... it would be nice if that was turned OFF by default.

It was puzzling at first because I could right-click and execute the alias and it worked fine.

Thanks for the replies

Auto-Append *is* turned off by default. It is only turned on when you import aliases from zMUD (since this option emulates what zMUD does with most aliases).

But this still sounds like a bug with the auto-append option, so I'll add it to the bug list.

Auto Append is turned on by default for aliases imported from zMUD. This wouldn't be an issue if Auto Append was working as intended, but it's not. Just turn it off for the ones that don't need it.
