[1.27] Still an issue, too... |
A while back, in 1.25, I mentioned that I couldn't bring Editor up for some reason. I posted the fix (and the reason for it), but it does seem to plague even 1.27.
Right to the point - You cannot open up the Editor window while the layout is locked. Also, if you lock the layout while Editor or Mapper is open, you cannot exit them, despite going to File->Exit on the individual windows. It seems all other windows work (except debugger doesn't pop up for me, regardless).
Another side issue - some of the menu commands don't seem to work, either. I was curious what "Make a Simple Trigger" was going to do, but when I clicked on it (both locked and unlocked layouts) nothing popped up.
Sorry if I seem annoying reporting all the small stuff.

Make Simple Trigger is very likely the menu item carry of From zMUD where you where able to launch a wizard to make a simple trigger.
I can't really speak to other points you made. |

I think the Make a Simple Trigger option is related to the old Simple Trigger Wizard that created triggers for users. CMUD doesn't have it yet (but it will - the customizable wizards were awesome!) which is why it doesn't work.

Yes, that is still on the bug list (the issue of opening the editor when the layout is locked). As I always say, I have way more bugs on my list that I can fix in every version, so the lower priority bugs like this don't get fixed. Especially since there is an easy workaround in this case (turn off the Lock Layout).
And yes, Fang and Tech are correct about the "Make a Simple Trigger" option....that is a place holder for the Trigger Wizard that doesn't exist in CMUD yet. But if you have any other menu commands that don't work, let us know. |
