cannot delete rooms in automapper

Ok, the automapper keeps screwing up and its really hard for me to fix because no matter what I do I can't delete rooms. I can erase the room name, and all links, and move it over to the side, but this is causing other issues. This is with a clean install of cmud 1.25. I'm going crazy, help please!

Usually a combination of docking/undocking the map window, or closing it and opening it again works for me.

Make sure the mapper is in "Map" mode. Otherwise the map is read-only. When the mapper is in Map mode, right-click on a room and select Delete from the menu. This should work regardless of whether the map is docked.
