If you want a timestamp and you're testing offline, you can try using %time instead. I use %time("ss.zzz") for timing things that take less than a minute. Just be aware that you'll have to account for wraparound (timer starting at 59 seconds and ending at 2 seconds, for example) because it's your actual system clock time.

Tex, I had noticed this also, several weeks ago, and had sent Zugg a bug report on it. I never heard back on it, though... Confused

It's working fine for me. I just connected to one of the sponsored sessions that're there when cmud's installed and tried it. You must be offline when you're doing it.

%ctime does not increment at all when offline. It remains at 0 before your first connection attempt since opening the program, and between your first logoff/disconnect and subsequent login it will remain at whatever value it was when you went offline. When you connect again, it gets reset to 0.

Yeah, the ones that pay to be on the front page. It was Achaea if I remember right, just connected and typed "#say %ctime" and it worked right off.

This might be a factor, or might not...
I play Simutronics' Modus Operandi. It has a dual login system...one must log into a server to obtain account info, and then log into the actual game server. Could that have something to do with my problem?

I'm experiencing this as well. I'm connected to a MUD (please, don't ask me if I'm sure I'm connected), actively playing, and any attempt to print out (or store in a variable) the value of %ctime results in '0'. I think this session was also the result of a .MUD file import.
