[1.24] package library corruption |
having quite a few reports from new purchasers, and ive confirmed it myself.
some scripts being downloaded from the package library are being corrupted on the way down, one example, in the Dreamsmud - lottery timer script (written by me), removes all the char returns from the alias 'countdown' and inserts a ; instead, but sends the entire alias to the mud as a text line unparsed. ive tried replacing this with a new copy from my local library, but the same thing happens.
some others have told me that also the occasional trigger is being installed with missing patterns.
im not sure if this is happening on upload, or on download. |

Hmm, that's a wierd one. The package library stores the data in XML format. If you Export your script to an XML file and then load it into Notepad, is the data still corrupted? But I'll look into this.
