I've did more testing and apparently, the layout file will be corrupted if I resize the windows after I positioned them. If I just allow Zmud to size them, everything would be fine.

I've set the layout of the windows to some tiled version that I prefer.. then I saved the layout.

The next time I start the session, it complains the layout file is corrupted.

I can't use expandlist.. the code I use is closer to:

which I then proceed to fill up, say:
