What you want is the #capture and #gag commands:

#trig {(*) tells the group (*)} {#capture chat;#gag}

That would send the line, with colours, to a window called "chat", and delete it from the ma ...

I want to check wether a variable matches one of two strings, like this:

#IF {@bdiv =~ "Alliance Army"} {#SAY AA}
#IF {@bdiv =~ "Alliance Navy"} {#SAY AN}

That is the syntax I can find in the h ...
