I thought it would be faster as well, but I could notice a longer delay even entering small commands like look, after i hit enter it just seemed like it was slower in sending the command out than zmud ...

yep I checked the task manager and sure enough it was right at the top, I closed it out then reopened zmud and works just fine now, thanks that saves me some trouble :)

I use zmud 7.21 and for some reason over the last 2 months about 75% of the time when i close Zmud I get this.
