So I am on this mud that does not happen to give a carriage return after the prompt.
For simplicity here is a sample prompt
[1800/1800 1568/1568 1900/1900]
I did
#ac {(%d)~]} {#subst {(%d)~]% ... |

| PS: There's 6 colorcodes in the string. It *does* preserve the beginning of the line but then applies ot to the whole line |
