I'm pretty sure it's not the router, as I highly doubt the default windows telnet app does anything special.
Yep, it happens when nothing is happening on the mud and I don't even get chat messages ... |

Whenever I go idle for a while with nothing being received/sent from the MUD, I get disconnected. cMUD still shows me as connected, but as soon as I send a command I get the "Disconnected from server" ... |

What version are you using?
I had that problem with the 5.55 crack before I paid for registration, so if you're trying to use a crack just buy it!  |

I think my problem was that I didn't have a status bar entry for the status windows. When I tried to cut and paste my status window from the text file, it said I had to name it. I don't want anything ... |

I have "Show Hidden" "Show Inherited" and "All Classes" checked, but it still doesn't show up.
I don't really want to delete/re-import my settings... but I guess I'll try that.

I got that error too, running win2k. I never found out how to fix it. Maybe because the free version is 16 bit and win2k/xp is 32? I really have no idea :(

Try using #SENDP (send prompt) which sends the text to the mud without a newline.
EX:
#SENDP quit
