#nnn to repeat commands doesn't work for me after upgrading to Beta 3.06, neither in aliases nor directly.

Thanks guys. Matt, your way works so now I can at least get past it (but "catching" the link with mouse seems to require some training for me :)

Zugg, your suggestion is what I was initially tryin ...

I have a feeling this feautre MUST be covered by the mapper as it isn't something new, but for the love of god I just haven't been able to figure out how to it.
My problem is when a room has an exit ...

Still no go. If I write it as you did, it just switches window (an undesired effect) and sends the command to the previous window(from where I typed the o3 alias).
If I try variations, such as "#WIN ...

Alias: + o3 #EXEC {:G3: %-1}

This gives the same result.

I did actually try to make seperate aliases as well, but even that gave me issues (I reported that one from within CMud) ...

I don't know if I'm trying to do things too much ZMud way, but I have an issue.

I have a module with the common stuff, including 2 aliases
o3 {:G3:#EXEC %-1}
kt {kill @target}

Then windows for ...

Truth is I initially tried with "o1 #var AutoMira 1200" and got the parsing error - this is how I usually did in ZMud. And then I tried the = syntax to same avail.
But I realize (after reading your ...

Ok not ENTIRELY what I need :)

While my aliases now work properly I get a parsing error if I try to make a variable.

Given this alias:
Alias: + o1 :G1:#EXEC {%-1}

From a win ...

Yes, that seems to work exactly as I need it to. Awesome!

I think adding a reference to #EXEC under "Introduction to Multiplaying" might be nice :)

Thanks for clearing things up for me.

Sorry, but that came a bit late - I've already posted it here. I did contemplate wheter that was proper, but as can be seen above I only "upgraded" to beta in the hope this problem would disappear.

It seems that if I use an alias to lighten on the arcane syntax of :win: that parsing doesn't happen properly. (Or at least not as I would expect.)

A short test. 2 windows and a few aliases:

Win ...

Ah, but then you are missing one level of indirection. ":G1:b mob" works for me. This issue arises when :win: is an alias, which o1 is - "o1 b mob" give the problem.

So in your scenario does it s ...

Hm, it's working fine for you.. Why not for me then? I actually do have a module, although the b alias isn't in that. But even if I try adding it there as a quick test, it doesn't help.

So what I ...

I have some issues with the :win:command. When I try to use it in an alias, it seems to only send it as literal.

I.e. I have alias o1 for :G1:%-1
For that char I then have alias b for backstab. ...
