Is ACexplorer aware of the Foundry portals?
For example, it routes from Mayoi to Baishi via the Baishi Subway. A quicker way is to take the Foundry portal.

As you suggested, I created a region. I added points to this region it now looks like a triangle. When I use "route" it runs me right through the region. I must be missing something.
