| I know I did it before, but I can't for the life of me remember how to disable the diagonal directions when manually creating a map using the keyboard, I don't need nw,sw etc..but I do need up and dow ... |

Urgh, well..you may get lucky with some of them, but I doubt all of them will function as expected, you may need to do a lot of tweaking to get it all right again.

| Windows tends to be a bit flakey for the first half dozen updates if you're lucky, or longer if you're not. zMUD and Windows tend to have the odd argument about who gets to go on top, especially in XP ... |

| Actually, I found I had a problem with getting zChat to load as well, solved it by downloading a fresh copy and loading it the initial time manually through the plug-in menu. Wouldn't accept the exe, ... |

I can safely rule out the MUD itself, just double checked the creation section with a couple new chars. I'm afraid to say I think it may be a windoze problem. Hrm....are all your drivers up to date?
