Ok...that ended up blinking every letter that was in the Enemy variable no matter where it was

didnt fire on Nilgo or Zephid
but did on Nilgo|Zephid

Could you use a status window and just set up some MXP stuff on the stuff in the window? that might be a little easier and that way you can type stuff without having to use the menu

This may or may not be your problem, but make sure that your main window is active before opening up the settings screen. I.e. if you have a child window for tells or something.

maybe the problem is that the exits are all bunched up in a group and the mud tries to interpret the single direction of 'nesw' instead of 4 directions 'n', 'e', 's', and 'w'
