what it seems to do is the top half of the screen you can see but the bottom half you can! Also it wont let me scroll up to see what is actually going on... Im totally lost? Is it a file corrupt?

hrm I have done all that. What I have done is delete the old one, put in the exact same host and port number. An error popped up saying this:
