Right - I've scrapped the above code - it was too long-winded and messy.
Here's what I have now - but for some reason I now seen unable to query the DBase. It just can't find my records anymore.

Its about as light as it gets - the pattern matching algorithms are probably horrendous.
I mean - I'm not getting any command lag yet and I have masses of scriptage.

This sounds like you need to tick the 'Prompt' checkbox in your trigger.
Its in the options tab, far left in the 'Trigger On' groupbox |
