| FYI, I was using service pack 1 when I updated and the problem emerged. Over the course of the day today I updated to service pack 2 for Vista and the problem seemed to fix itself. |

Thank you for finding that and posting.
Unfortunately, I do not have the slightest idea how to uninstall a windows update and the thought of trying to figure it out makes my eye teeth ache. |
