Alright, just curious as to whether or not it could be done with a simple function.
I can do it the hard way, it's just a little more effort. :)

Well... simply enough, you can do it the same way.
Make an alias for "e" and have it take the value of "east"
So
#AL {e} {east}
When you hit e, and only e by itself.
Like #7 e, it will ... |

Is there a command available to alter the autoreconnect switch on a character?
