Fang that worked fine until it sees an item begins with 'a' so I
var=%subregex(%1,"^(a |an |the |some ) ","") added a space after each. |

Well correction to this, things seem to work after you walk away for a few. I got it working to some degree using Arminas example.
It only adds the first word of the string tho, ie "Olog'Hai" from ... |

with your 1st reply, I think I see my error, just need to use gives you (%w) vs (%w) gives you, or use (w%) gives you (w%)
using %w for what ever I need and place it where its needed. |

The #loop 16001, 16459 loops through the vnums doing goto %1
#loop 16001, 16459 { goto %1} * works great
