I can get #call %roomlink(%roomnum ,n ,-2) to create anything on the map room.

Do the door in you mud have names?
If not and they are always refered to as 'door' then your config shoud look like this;

In the map preferences' "Strings and Doors" tab I have "open door %1" for ...

What exactly are you trying to do now?

From waht I have been able to determine the mappers only uses single character. This is why, for example, SE is stored as l.

Oh goody! finally I will be able to reliably trigger and insert mxp tags for the mapper and other things like redirect! I don't know why IRE muds aren't taking advantage of them, but they're not.
