I got that exact same error today, found this thread, and am glad to report that rebooting my laptop did indeed fix this... however, I'd also like to mention that while this error was in effect, -none ...

license code issue solved...the 2.25 I had installed was cmud... my 2.18 version is cmud-pro >_< getting 2.25 of -pro solved -that- particular problem...
