I tried that version wth Win2K. No joy. I don't remember hearing anyone get it working under Win2K +.

Yes it's possible. On our mud to trigger off a bold cyan line you use:

If you mean one that was backed up during an upgrade, it's fairly easy. Uninstall zMUD and it will prompt you to restore the previous configuration.
